Magic Kingdom!!

On Tuesday, the boys woke bright at and early too excited for the Magic Kingdom.
So thankful for the tie-dye Mickey shirts from the Seessels

Even Tinkerbell was excited to see us!

Since neither of the boys has ever ridden a roller coaster, I decided to test the water with Barnstormer. A 45 second (yes, I timed it) roller coaster. Evan decided immediately he loved them. Luke decided immediately he did not. The second time we went, Evan and I got the front row!!

We decided to slow it down for Luke and ride Dumbo. Full disclosure...I got more nauseous riding Dumbo over any other ride.

We conquered Haunted Mansion - a favorite for everyone!

Evan and I rode Space Mountain. It ROCKED! I think it was even awarded "Evan's favorite ride of Magic Kingdom." His face says it all!
Daddy and Luke sat that one out. I think they went back for more Dumbo.

Then we had a fast pass for Seven Dwarves Mine Train. Now, if you recall earlier in this post Luke had decided roller coasters was not his thing after about 5 minutes into the park. We watched 7D ride around for a while before we were able to finally convince him to try it.

And despite his face in that last picture, he LOVED it!! It is an awesome ride! I see why there is over an hour wait 5 minutes after the park opens.

Capitalizing on that excellent ride, we talked Luke into riding Big Thunder Mountain. The results were not the same. I am not sure he has forgiven us for that one yet.

We slowed things down with some shopping, carousels, lots of walking, and The Little Mermaid!

We logged over 10 miles so rides like The Little Mermaid were a must!

Are they destined to be the King??

I asked if we could bring these home as a souvenier...

We have some family in Orlando and couldn't pass up a chance to meet up with them. We headed over to Disney Springs to eat at the Rainforest Cafe!

It was SO SO SO good to catch up with John's aunt, uncle, and cousin. It's been probably over 7 years since we seen them! We spent over 2 hours chatting, eating, drinking, laughing...so long that one little Asbell fell asleep at the dinner table in mommy's arms.

Over 10 miles logged (and after 10pm) we finally made it back to the resort. Tired, full, exhausted and really happy.
