When the circus comes to JK

My little monkey was a lion in the circus play in JK at St. George's. 

I love this production at my school! It was developed out of dramatic play in their weekly unit on the circus. As a lion, he got to come out on stage, roar at us, jump through a hoop that his lion tamer was holding, and roll around on the ground. Yelling, jumping and rolling on the floor - perfect for this almost 5 year old!

Some of his family could be there. Gran and Jed, Grandmom, and daddy made it to the production. He was super excited to perform for these guys.

The school integrates fine arts, so music, art and drama are all put into one class. For this play, the students created an audience (of themselves) to watch the circus and couple of animals in the 'holding area'. Little kid artwork is SO cute!

I love his BLUE nose. LOL!
